Sanctuary
We are all here, runaways, thrown away, left alone so much, we ran away. Left to our own, left with our pain, hating those people, despising the game.
But we came together, we chose each other, the few, made our own families, started anew. We built our lives and made our homes, not with brick or stone.
In these walls, we are safe, we have time. We run to each other and hold one another.
We all have secrets, and hide some shame. But here, together, we are all the same. Equal with each other, share our burdens, and our joys.
In these walls, we have peace, In these walls, there is sanctuary.
